Gabrielle’s focus is on digestive disorders and autoimmune issues and incorporates a whole systems approach that integrates the principles of functional medicine and nutrition, eating and positive psychology, and mind-body medicine. Conventional medicine has its merits but often provides only temporary relief. Gabrielle steps in to help you find symptom resolution or to prevent the symptoms in the first place.

Unawareness about food quality, supplements, environmental toxins, side effects of medications, and the impact of stress is common. But that’s where Gabrielle comes in. She’s not just a functional nutritionist; she’s an educator determined to change the narrative around health. Gabrielle’s approach is thorough. As a new client, expect her to delve into every aspect of your life, gently guiding you toward understanding why previous health strategies failed. Her customized treatment plans cater to your unique strengths and weaknesses, ensuring a personalized journey toward optimal health.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at Texas Woman's University, Gabrielle began practicing clinical nutrition at Baylor University Medical Center. Despite the positive results, she felt the institution was behind on the science and prioritized profit over patients, leading her to functional nutrition in 2012. Gabrielle’s qualifications extend beyond her degree. Gabrielle knew that educating people on the connection between what they put in their bodies and how they feel was not enough, so she pursued health coaching. She was part of the founding class and earned her certification as a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC) at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA) in collaboration with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She was also an adjunct faculty at FMCA for 2 years.

Gabrielle continued to learn more about why the body may lose function and what it takes to restore it.
